1944 Thai Occupation of Malaya - WWII : Registered postal stationery 15c. overprinted by 5 vertical red Japanese characteres and used through Thai postal system authority from Sybury Jitra to Kedah on cover uprated with Thai postage 2c.x4 making postal rate of 23c. with double censorship tied triple ring Jitra Sybury (Proud Th D5) English only cds thrice, triple rings Sugei Pattani Sybury (Proud Th D6) English only cds. and boxed Alor Star 2 censor marking in black on front and back. Sone red wax still remained on part of the postage. Only few known usage of stationery survied in this short occupation period thus excessively rare usage. Clean fresh and tidy cover in excellent condition. VF.(1)
